Bad blogger

Oh - has it really already been 2 weeks since my last posting? Bad blogger!
I guess I've just been busy with the job hunt, running around to interviews and recruiter meetings. -and studying. I'm taking a tax course and it is so, sooo ick.
Excitement and disappointment - interview - yea! Then, wait - you want to pay me what? "That's way lower than I expected" --yes I actually said the part in quotations. He didn't call back for a 2nd interview. Too bad because I would have suggested to him that the low, low bargain basement salary they were offering was probably the reason the last two employees in prospective position were of such low quality.
I did hear some encouragement from recruiters, however. They said there wasn't the increase in demand in September as expected, but they were experiencing a little pick up now, and they expect it to last another couple of weeks. If not now, then January should pick up again, they expect.
I think I would quite enjoy being off for Christmas, it's been some years since I've had the pleasure. My last employer's year end was Dec31 and auditors were in the 7th(ish) of January, so there wasn't any time off to be had, except for the stats (and thank goodness for them).
So, there. The update. (Trying) to enjoy EI (it would be a lot easier without this icky tax course hanging over my head - I should just get it done already!) and hoping for a job just to be sure I have one before EI runs out, even though I do have several more months left.
I know God has a job for me. I just wish I could know the whole picture in advance so I wouldn't feel so much pressure over it. Deep breath..... and release.
