After I "published" last time, I realized what had happened. I got a little distracted by my work (lack of work) situation in what should've been my introduction posting. Funny how we tend to define ourselves by what we do for a living isn't it? Well, not really funny, funny, I guess. But not really exactly sad either, because really, it does take up a whole lot of our time and energy, and hopefully, we like it. Yes. Yes I do like being an accountant; and no, I don't think I'm romanticizing it because I'm not actually working as an accountant right now. Really, we are so much more than the sum total of our work experiences. And that is so, sooo good. (Especially in my case because although sometimes balancing can be exciting... well, not everyone thinks so - some might call it (gasp) boring!)
So, here's take 2 of my introduction. I'm 29 again (4th time = 32), have been married 5 years to an absolutely amazing man who I've known for more than half my life now. I'm the first born and recently voted feistiest of my 4 sisters, though I'm also pretty shy. If you ask me what I think, I'll tell you honestly, although I'll try to be somewhat diplomatic about it, if possible. I don't like games. If I say we should get together sometime, it's not just to be "nice"; I actually mean it. I've "lurked" around quite a few blogs and some of them are just so interesting. Now that I'm a blogger though, I think I'll start commenting, because it really is pretty exciting to get comments and to know -- I'm being read!! That's me in a nutshell. I also reserve the right to further discovery in the future.
