I'm a blogger!

So, I've decided to start a blog. How interesting will it be? What's my main topic? Will I have any followers -- even if they're just "lurkers"? Well, that remains to be seen.
Today I got together with my sister, who's graduated with an English degree and has yet to "do something" with that, and I'm trying to convince her to blog, since she keeps saying how she'd like to start writing again. "Fabulous idea! Do it!" I keep telling her. (She says it right back, so here I am, being her blogger example. She has no more reasons why she shouldn't if I am, right? I'm not the English major -- I'm an accountant:) She told me an amusing story today which I think gives her blog a name. -- "I'm someone". We'll see if that name sticks. I'll add a link to her blog so you can see the story and check her out (as soon as she starts her blog too). She's someone alright -- she's awesome & I love 'er.
Ok, since she'll be reading, I guess I should qualify the "yet to do something" comment by saying that actually, she has just started "something" and has started the ball rolling on using that degree in a real-live career.
Whew! My very first posting is done. Short & sweet. I guess I'll introduce myself next time.
